NetWork of BioLaw and BioEthics “NB²”


ECSEL promotes and supports, since 2008, the NetWork of BioLaw and BioEthics (NB˛), of which are part University chairs, research centers, master and doctorates of biolaw and bioethics, as well as single researchers, both Italian and foreign.

The NetWork has the aim of encouraging the development of studies and researches concerning the issue, as well as establishing and supporting scientific collaboration between the participants, also through bi-multilateral agreements. Themes of particular interest are: the convergence between nanotechnologies, neuroscience and robotics; the trans-border movements of stem cells; the evolution of the relationship between human body, art and science.

Moreover, the NetWork wants to favor the knowledge of the scientific initiatives realised or promoted by the participants.

The scientific coordination of the initiatives of the NetWork is assigned to the European Commission “Ad Personam” Jean Monnet Chair of Biolaw of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
